PREPARE FOR YOUR SESSION

- REST

Before your appointment, remember to show up well-rested. Depending on the size and intricacy of your tattoo, sessions can last for a few hours and will be tough on your body.

- STAY HYDRATED

Make sure you stay properly hydrated before and throughout your session with (mainly) water and/or sugary drinks. By ensuring a proper hydration, we'll also help the healing process.

- EAT

Eat a good meal before your session. A full stomach will help maintain your blood sugar and help you endure a long session. Eating also helps to prevent dizziness from nerves or hunger.

- WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES

Wear clothing that is loose, comfortable, and easily accessible for you and your tattoo artist. You want to be able to lie down for extended periods comfortably. Bear in mind the placement of your tattoo and remember to dress accordingly.

- AVOID ALCOHOL, SUN EXPOSURE, AND CAFFEINE

Alcohol and caffeine can thin your blood, dehydrate you, and make your skin harder to tattoo. Caffeine can make you jittery.

- PURCHASE NUMBING CREAM

If you will be using numbing during your tattoo session, be sure to purchase your numbing cream in advance to accommodate for shipping times. Remember to talk to your artist if you’ll be using numbing cream.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR SESSION

- SNACKS & WATER

Be sure to show up to your appointment after having a good meal to stay energized. Come to your session prepared with snacks and drinks so that your blood sugar doesn’t get too low. Eating also helps to prevent dizziness that might arise out of nerves or hunger.

- ENTERTAINMENT

If you are anticipating a long tattooing session, come prepared with headphones, a book, or something else you enjoy so that you can listen to music and/or watch a TV show or movie to pass the time.

- GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID

You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed, no exceptions. Please bring your drivers license or other form of ID to your session; it will be required to fill out paper work.

- A WAY TO PAY

I accept cash, card, and Venmo. All transactions are subject to sales tax. Card and Venmo transactions are subject to a processing fee. If you would like to avoid the processing fee, please bring cash.
